Rather than a herd mentality, ETR is helping to foster a community of fast followers, and I look forward to being one of them.– Henry Jenkins, Sr. Director of Enterprise Infrastructure | U.C. Irvine
the Magic Quadrant is the past. It is not the future. The thing that the ETR surveys and analysis does is that it gives you a clear projection into today and moving forward; not the past. With the speed we're moving, and the speed things are changing, do you really want knowledge from the past? Or do you want to see what's going on now? I'm with ETR.- Jonathan Zwang, President | Z Strategic Consulting
I recently attended the VENN event. It was a great opportunity to not only share what we are doing to modernize our technology and approach but also learn from the others as to what they are doing. The participants are very knowledgeable. As a result, I learned about technologies and vendors that should be on my radar as I push to improve our technological competitiveness. It was a great event that has already resulted in great relationships.- Niel Nickolaisen, CTO | OC Tanner
That’s why I started working with ETR. I needed some way of validating what I do. There are very few people that run at my level. So by working with people like ETR, Gartner Forrester, and 451, it gave me the ability to try to validate my predictions, analysis, and beliefs. It allowed me to understand if I'm accurate or not.– Michael Delzer, Chief Infrastructure Architect | American Airlines
The tools are the least of my concern right now. Once I get the people and the process side of things under control and align them with my CEO's vision for growth, the tools will fall in place. That's the easy part. I mean, I have friends like ETR that I can lean on to pick the right tools.- Sagar Murthy, CIO | Jason Industries
We just finished an engagement with a large, global private company where we came in to evaluate their products, and we used the ETR data to help me look at the vendors.- Rich Ferguson, President | Lulius Innovation
I think ETR is in the right place to be for helping evaluate products against each other. This is not a paid advertisement for ETR, but the federal CIOs should look at your platform, the ETR and VENN platform. It’s great to evaluate products against each other. It’s unbiased and there’s no weighted score towards a certain vendor. I hope that you guys have more success in grabbing additional Federal CIOs to help them with their service to the country. So, thank you guys for your help on that.
I'm prejudiced because as we ventured into the cloud transformation and moving our applications from on-prem datacenters into a cloud environment, we spent the better part of the last two and a half years on AWS. Judging from some of the statistics and the survey information on the ETR portal, it sounds like many others have done similarly, although I do see a strong representation from Azure as well.- Andrew Conte, Information Security Officer | Guardian Life
[regarding the Emerging Technology Study] I believe it is one of the most complete lists that I have encountered during my research in this area.- US Government IT Executive
I have found your work to be extremely impressive and helpful and have especially appreciated the sanity check. There ARE a huge number of new entrants. As always, I appreciate your work and effort and look forward to additional conclusions.
I was a subscriber to the ETR platform back in the day, so we appreciate the diversity and the value that it brings to making decisions.- Jeff Bray, VP Financial Planning & Analysis | Rapid 7
