  • Databricks boasts the strongest year-over-year customer growth rate among all vendors within the ML / AI sectors, this has translated nicely into market share growth among all customers.
  • Databricks’ overall spending intentions are slowing vs one year ago due to weakening expansion rates, though spend data is very strong on an absolute level. Further, customer acquisition rates remain strong, negativity is minimal, and market share is stable.

Databricks Tracking the Conversation -

  • Databricks is awesome. It is simply a marvelous capability. It just needs a little bit more maturing and they’re pouring a lot of resources on it to do that. It is a massive competitor. It’s easy to use. It does a lot of things. It missed a few key features, which they’re desperately trying to fill in those gaps. If you have something that performs equally as well in digital properties, as well as physical properties, you’ve got a real killer competitor there. The ones that are going to do massive volume, I think this will be a killer competitor for.
