Since 2019, ETR has surveyed Segment's target consumer base and end users about their forward-looking spending intentions with the company. Our survey methodology, frequency of polling and round table discussions with CIOs, allow us to capture and report, in real-time, changes in customer demand and the impact these changes have on Segment’s calendar year spend. Specifically, the data provides actionable insight into whether the company's products and services within Infrastructure Software are gaining traction in spending intentions within the enterprise.

The most recent awareness and evaluations for Segment was collected through the Emerging Technology Study (ETS). The ETS data was collected from 5/7/2019- 5/24/2019 and sourced from 73 IT end users, representing approximately $59B in annual IT Spend. This includes 16 Fortune 500 and 26 Global 2000 IT Decision Makers.
